Traditionally, the Groom’s hand should be over the Bride’s when cutting the cake.

A slice of Wedding Cake is usually 1″ wide x 2″ deep, or, 2.5cm wide x 5cm deep.
It is not advisable to cut the top layer of a tierd cake as it may be too unstable.
Traditionally, the first bite is for the Bride and Groom to symbolise nuturing their marriage.
Do not demolish or throw the cake.
The cake should be offered around to family and friends.
